4:15 - Life Raft Demo & Vessel Safety Checks
5:30 - Cocktail party on the deck, served hors d’ouevres
6:30 - A new approach to dinner (various stations for entrees; come and go to the stations as you like.)

Friday

8:30 - Full Breakfast Buffet
9:00 - Russ Jones on his recent visit and tour at Nordic Tugs
9:20 - Skippers’ meeting for mooring accommodations in Hamburg Cove & Cruise Instructions (Herb Nickles)
11:30 - Parade of tugs along the Essex Waterfront (Dress ship if possible) and then informal cruise to Hamburg Cove for a leisurely afternoon
5:00 - Dinghy to host boat Nordic Lady for BYO cocktails & BYO hors d'oeuvres. Dinner on own vessel.
Saturday
Post Rendezvous two-week cruises will depart:
• Cruise A, Leisurely island cruise (Block, Cuttyhunk, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket)
• Cruise B, Plymouth, Salem, P’Town, whale watching and more. |

Where Essex, CT
Come to the historic and quaint village of Essex, CT, located 6 miles north of Long Island Sound on the beautiful Connecticut River.
Who is invited?
All Nordic Tug owners and prospective owners from near or far, by land or by sea.
What do I need to do?
• Send in downloaded registration forms (click on the link above)
• Make dock or inn reservations:
Essex Island Marina (860-767-1267) or Griswold Inn (860-767-1776)
• Bring an entre or dessert to share for the potluck dinner.
• Bring a donation for the raffle. Please ask your favorite marina, boat store, or chandlery to make a donation to our raffle. All gifts accepted—from a night’s free dockage to cruising books to cocktail napkins!
